Tosca

Tosca came along about four years after Sam, our son, was born.  Baron, our Doberman, gave us twelve good years but of course all dogs go to Heaven eventually, and a boy needs a dog.  In this case a woman needs a dog, too.  After we brought Tosca home from Zareba Kennel, Densi became interested in showing dogs in the conformation ring (pic1,   pic2).

Other than being quite the mercenary when it comes to horking my chicken sandwiches from a table, or plaguing the cat every chance she gets, she is a fine example of the Rhodesian Ridgeback standard, which means she eats, sleeps, stretches, runs, sleeps, cruises the kitchen when we aren't looking, (did I mention she's a great watch dog?), explores, and has earned the title Senior Courser.  She has a vertical leap of about five feet if there are squirrels above her, and she and Coda frequent the fence next door with Jack and Ginger so they can catch a race every day or so.

This is Tosca's favorite song.
